Gilroy Man Killed in Hit-and-run Crash
GILROY, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2022) — A Gilroy man died Monday night in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
The collision occurred about 8:54 a.m. on Sept. 12th, according to various news sources including KRON.
The Gilroy man suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of a gray or charcoal-colored SUV fled the scene following the collision.
Police believe the suspect’s vehicle has major front-end damage from hitting the pedestrian.
Investigators working on the case are hoping someone saw what happened or will report seeing the damaged vehicle.
