Deadly Crash on Aviation Boulevard in Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2022) — A fatal Hawthorne crash happened on Aviation Boulevard Friday morning between 135th Street and El Segundo Boulevard.
UPDATE: Paulin Aguirre, 24, identified by Los Angeles Sheriff Coroner as victim of deadly crash.
The Hawthorne Police Department reported the crash about 7:45 a.m. on Jan. 7th on their Twitter account.
Police temporarily closed down all lanes of Aviation Boulevard in both directions due to the deadly crash.
Hawthorne Collision Investigation
The roadway will remain closed for several hours due to the cleanup and subsequent investigation into the fatality.
It’s unknown how many vehicles are involved in the Hawthorne crash on Aviation Boulevard at this time.
All lanes in both directions of Aviation Bl between 135th St and El Segundo Bl are closed for the next several hours due to a fatal traffic collision. Avoid the area.
