Pedestrian Killed in Crash on State Route 185
HAYWARD, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2024) — A fatal Hayward pedestrian accident happened Tuesday night on Highway 185 and Blossom Way.
The deadly crash occurred at around 7:36 p.m. on Feb. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials reported a driver in a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV struck the person due to unknown circumstances and then stopped the vehicle to call for help.
Paramedics responded with an ambulance, but unfortunately the person died at the scene.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the SUV for evidence and traffic investigators are working to determine fault for the collision on Highway 185 in Hayward.
