Deadly, 2-Vehicle Car Accident at Highways 156 and 25
HOLLISTER, Calif. (May 5, 2023) — A fatal Hollister crash happened Friday morning at Highway 156 and Highway 25 (Bolsa Road).
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:26 a.m. on May 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck collided with a red sedan due to unknown circumstances. The car reportedly went off the roadway roughly 50 feet into a field and two people were trapped in the vehicle and unable to get out.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash, but sadly at least one person died and another had major injuries, the report said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the pickup truck with major front-end damage and the red car with all over major damage from the intersection.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Hollister crash on Highway 156.
