Pedestrian Killed in Vehicle Crash Near Long Beach

 Fatal Long Beach Pedestrian Accident State Route 103, Pacific Coast Highway LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 5, 2022) — A fatal Long Beach pedestrian accident happened early Wednesday morning at the State Route 103 and Pacific Coast Highway interchange.

The deadly crash occurred about 12:09 a.m. on Oct. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers were responded to the crash scene at 12:09 a.m. and located the victim in the roadway.

It’s unknown if the driver stopped following the crash.

Sadly, the victim suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators continue to work on the case.

Finally, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name after notification of family members.
