Long Beach Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver After Pedestrian Fatality
LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 26, 2021) – A fatal Long Beach pedestrian hit-and-run crash left a 52-year-old Long Beach man dead Sunday on a service road that leads to the Los Angeles River, just north of Willow Street.
Also, the fatal crash happened about 5:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 25th, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Authorities are seeking to find the suspect who fled the crash, leaving the victim with major injuries.
Fatal Crash Investigation Underway
The Long Beach Police Department is investigating the Long Beach pedestrian hit-and-run crash. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will identify the victim after relatives are notified.
There is no description of the motorist or involved vehicle at this time.
