1 Killed, 2 Injured in Madera County Accident
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (June 10, 2021) — A fatal Madera County crash involving two vehicles happened early Thursday morning at Avenue 7 and Road 21.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol the crash happened about 5 a.m.
Additionally, the fatal Madera County crash occurred on Avenue 7 and Road 21 on June 10th.
The driver of a white Dodge Caravan reportedly traveled south on Road 21 and collided with a westbound red Volvo sedan on Avenue 7. One of the motorists failed to stop at the posted stop sign and caused the collision. The red sedan reportedly crashed into the side of the Dodge Caravan.
Police report the driver of the Dodge Caravan died in the collision.
Meanwhile, a passenger in the Dodge suffered serious injuries. Paramedics responded and airlifted the injured passenger to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
Also, the driver of the Volvo suffered injuries and got transported to CRMC.
The cause of the fatal Madera County crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
