Motorcyclist, Pickup Truck Crash on Mathews Lane in Marysville
MARYSVILLE, Calif. (May 20, 2022) — A fatal Marysville motorcycle versus truck accident happened Friday morning on Mathews Lane near Woodruff Lane.
The deadly crash occurred about 10:05 a.m. on May 20th in the 9114 to 9285 block of Mathews Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the male motorcycle rider went down in the roadway after the bike collided with a pickup truck pulling a trailer. it’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time, but investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office sent the coroner to the accident scene.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both the pickup truck and the motorcycle from the roadway.
The investigation into the tragedy is ongoing.
