Motorcyclist Struck, Killed on Highway 99 in Modesto
MODESTO, Calif. (March 29, 2022) — A fatal Modesto motorcycle accident happened Tuesday morning on Highway 99 at Pelandale Avenue.
The deadly crash involving three motorists happened about 6:50 a.m. on March 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a white Scion XB struck the motorcyclist who was then run over by a semi-truck, police said.
The motorcycle accident happened in the middle and slow lanes of Highway 99. The motorcyclist went down in the No. 3 lane of the roadway and died at the scene. The age, gender and identity of the person is unknown at this time.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine the cause of the crash and liability.
