Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Hwy 99 in Keyes
STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. (April 4, 2023) — A fatal multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle happened Tuesday on the northbound Highway 99 in Keyes.
The rider was later identified as 24-year-old Ireland Rolon of Hughson, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff Coroner.
The 4-vehicle collision occurred around 7:54 a.m. on April 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the rider went down in traffic lanes after colliding with a black SUV. Two other vehicles may have also been involved in the collision, but there are no further details.
The Stanislaus County Fire Department responded and located the injured rider in the No. 2 lane of Highway 99, but sadly the person suffered fatal injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Keyes crash on Highway 99.
