Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident at Oakland intersection
OAKLAND, Calif. (May 6, 2024) — A fatal motorcycle accident happened Sunday night at 73rd Avenue and Orral Street in East Oakland.
The fatality that resulted in a detention happened around 10:50 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 73rd Avenue and Orral Street in East Oakland, according to East Bay Times.
Preliminary reports stated a driver allegedly rear-ended the man riding a motorcycle due to unknown circumstances. The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the car was suspected of driving under the influence and detained for questioning, but it’s unknown if that was confirmed or not.
The cause of the fatal Oakland motorcycle accident remains under investigation.
