PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (March 13, 2023) — A fatal Palm Springs bicycle accident happened Monday morning on East Ramon Road, between El Cielo and Compadre roads.
The car versus bicycle crash occurred around 4:43 a.m. on March 13th, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
A driver reportedly struck a person riding a bicycle due to unknown circumstances.
The Palm Springs Police Department responded to the crash scene and located the injured bicyclist. Sadly, the person died at the scene of the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities have not released the name of the victim who died in the fatal Palm Springs bicycle accident at this time.
Authorities closed down a portion of Ramon Road to conduct an investigation into what happened.
