Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle, Killed in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 13, 2021) – A fatal pedestrian accident on 71st Street happened early Monday morning in the Florence area of South Los Angeles.
A vehicle struck and killed the unidentified person about 1:24 a.m. in in front of 100 East 71st Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, but officials have not released the person’s age and gender.
Additionally, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will identified the victim after notifying family members.
Investigators are piecing together evidence at the scene to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
