Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle, Killed in Hyde Park Area
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 26, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened late Wednesday night at Arlington Avenue and 51st Street in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.
A man crossing the street about 11 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection. Sadly, he suffered major injuries and died at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner has not released the identity of the man, but he is reportedly in his 60s, police said.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved stopped and remained at the scene. Police officers quested the driver about the collision, but there are no known arrests at this time.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
