Pedestrian Struck and Killed in South LA Area
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 12, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident at Florence Avenue and Figueroa Street happened Tuesday morning in the south Los Angeles area.
A driver struck Lorrenee Berry Oshodin, 75, of Los Angeles, about 5:50 a.m. at the south Los Angeles intersection, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
LAPD officers and paramedics responded to the scene where the person died following the collision. Police did not initially report the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time.
However, later, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the Los Angeles resident on their website.
Meanwhile, the circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation. The report did not mention if the motorist remained on scene, nor did they release a description of the vehicle.
