Deadly Crash on Gibson Road in Woodland
WOODLAND, Calif. (March 11, 2024) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Sunday morning at Gibson Road and County Road 97 in Woodland.
The deadly crash occurred at around 12:45 a.m. on March 10th, just east of Joe Heidrick Farms Shop, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver struck the victim in the roadway and someone called 911 for help.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured person to Kaiser Vacaville, but unfortunately they died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Yolo County Sheriff’s Department and CHP investigators are working to determine liability for the fatal crash on Gibson Road in Woodland.
