Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 101 in Redwood City
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (June 24, 2022) — A fatal Redwood City motorcycle crash happened Thursday night on Highway 101 near the San Antonio Road off ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 5:14 p.m. on June 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred in the southbound Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the highway, the report said.
Someone called 911 to report the collision and told 911 operators that someone was performing CPR on the victim in the center divider. Sadly, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries from the crash.
Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert due to the crash and the highway lanes reopened at 6:52 p.m.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
