Woman, 72, Killed Near Reedley Intersection
REEDLEY, Calif. (April 10, 2024) — A 72-year-old woman died Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle at Springfield and Justin avenues in Reedley.
The deadly crash occurred at around 8 pm at the Reedley intersection, according to ABC 30 News.
The 72-year-old woman was reportedly crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk and using a walker at the time the driver hit her.
Paramedics transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital, but she later died from her injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped their vehicle and cooperated with police officers.
Investigators do not believe that drugs and or alcohol were not involved in the crash.
