Sandra Jean Wright Killed in San Bernardino Hit-and-run Crash
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2021) — A fatal San Bernardino hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Sunday night on Waterman Avenue near 10th Street.
The deadly crash happened about 6:09 p.m. on Nov. 28th, according to the San Bernardino Sun.
The driver of a white sedan involved struck a 65-year-old Highland woman at the intersection and fled the scene without stopping to help her. The vehicle was last seen driving through Waterman Discount Mall’s parking lot towards 9th Street.

Meanwhile, San Bernardino police officers responded to North Waterman Avenue and 10th Street shortly after the crash.
They located the unresponsive woman in the southbound lanes just outside of the crosswalk.
Despite efforts by paramedics, Sandra Jean Wright died at the scene of the collision about 6:18 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators are working on the case and hope the public will help them.
