Pedestrian Struck on Highway 101 in San Jose
SAN JOSE, Calif. (March 20, 2024) – A fatal San Jose pedestrian accident happened Tuesday night on the northbound Highway 101, just south of McKee Road.
The deadly crash occurred at around 9:20 p.m. on March 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a silver Toyota Camry reportedly struck the victim due to unknown circumstances. The vehicle was stopped near the center divider area and someone called 911 for help. The report did not mention the victim’s gender, age or identity.
The San Jose Police Department responded to the scene and closed down the southbound and northbound lanes of McKee Road due to the investigation.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the San Jose pedestrian accident.
