Motorcyclist Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on Occidental Road
SEBASTOPOL, Calif. (May 21, 2021) — A fatal Sebastopol motorcycle accident happened Friday morning at Occidental Road and Highway 116 in Sonoma County.
The fatal collision happened about 8:21 a.m. on May 21st in the Barlow area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the vehicles involved were a black SUV, a grey Chevrolet SUV and a motorcycle. It’s unknown what led up to the collision between the three motorists, but investigators are working on piecing together the circumstances.
Multi-Vehicle Crash on Occidental Road/State Route 116
Also, the motorcyclist lost its front wheel and wound up on the left side of the roadway. Police summoned three ambulances to the crash scene, but there were no further details about the injured. Sadly, the motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries and died on scene.
Meanwhile, police closed Occidental Road at High School Road due to the ongoing investigation.
