Motorcycle, Truck Crash on State Route 118 in Somis
SOMIS, Calif. (April 18, 2022) — A fatal Somis motorcycle accident on Highway 118 happened Monday morning near Bradley Road in Ventura County.
The crash between a motorcycle and white Dodge Ram pickup occurred about 9:12 a.m. on April 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported two vehicles were involved in the crash.
The motorcycle rider went down on the right shoulder and the bike also went off the roadway, the report said.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash. Sadly, the motorcyclist died at the scene.
Meanwhile, two tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
