 Fatal Stanislaus County Crash Keyes Road, Downie Road (April 22)STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. (April 22, 2021) — A fatal Stanislaus County crash happened Thursday at Keyes and Downie roads.

The collision happened about 6:02 a.m. on April 22nd, in a rural area just north east of Denair, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A red Ford pickup truck and a tractor collided at the intersection due to unknown reasons.  The two-lane roadway was closed for several hours due to the fatal crash. Meanwhile, at least one person died in the collision. The age, gender and identity of the person or people is unknown at this time.

There were no details about what led up to the crash, nor how many people were involved, according to the CHP report.

Finally, investigators will determine fault for the fatal Stanislaus County car crash.
