Semi-Truck Crash on State Route Highway 88
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2022) – A fatal crash on Highway 88 at East Live Oak Road happened Wednesday night just northeast of Stockton.
A semi-truck and two vehicles collided about 8 p.m. on Sept. 14th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
One person died in the crash and two others were injured when the semi-truck collided with a black pickup truck and another motorist. The flatbed truck wound up overturned in a field on the side of the highway.
Paramedics responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene and took two others to a hospital. There are no further details about the people involved in the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Stockton crash on Highway 88.
