Foothill Farms Crash Interstate 80 Freeway, Greenback Lane FOOTHILL FARMS, Calif. (Aug. 5, 2022) — A Foothill Farms crash happened Friday afternoon on the Interstate 80 Freeway near the Greenbback Lane off ramp.

The crash occurred about 2:20 p.m. on August 5th in the eastbound lanes of the I-80, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP reports the driver of a white Toyota pickup truck crashed into a tree after a collision with a green Honda Accord. The dispatch report said they believed the Honda caused the crash when it swerved into the pickup truck.

The Sacramento Fire Department responded to help those who were hurt in the crash. At least one person was taken by amblance to MSJ.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Foothill Farms crash.
