2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 180 in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (July 2, 2021) — A Fresno car accident on Highway 180 happened Friday morning near Highway 99.
The Fresno collision happened in the westbound lanes of the highway about 8:00 a.m. on July 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Chevrolet Avalanche towing a 10-foot trailer and a grey Kia Forte sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. The crash happened in the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of Highway 180, just west of North Fulton Street, police said.
CHP Responds Collision Highway 180
The Kia suffered major front-end damage in the Fresno car accident on Highway 180. Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles including a trailer being towed by the Chevrolet.
Meanwhile, an ambulance responded to the highway to treat the injured with complaints of pain. The report does not mention the age and or gender of the injured.
There is no further information about the collision at this time. However, the CHP is investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
