Pickup Towing Trailer Crashes in Center Divider, Other Vehicles
FRESNO, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2022) — A Fresno crash on Tuesday morning happened on the northbound Highway 99 at the Cedar Avenue off ramp.
The collision happened about 8:52 a.m. on Feb. 8th and blocked the northbound fast lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported two vehicles collided when a driver in a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck towing a trailer veered across Highway 99 and crashed into the center divider and went over the wall. The pickup truck collided with the right side of a white Toyota Camry sedan. The driver in the pickup truck became trapped in the vehicle.
Paramedics responded to transport at least one person injured in the crash to a hospital for minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded to remove both the car and the Silverado pickup truck from the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Fresno crash on Highway 99.
