Major Injury Collision at Jensen and Temperance Avenues
FRESNO, Calif. (July 28, 2021) — A major-injury Fresno crash happened Wednesday afternoon at Jensen Avenue and Temperance Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision happened in the No. 1 lane of Jensen Avenue about 4:08 p.m. on July 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white SUV and a silver sedan collided due to unknown circumstances, police said. Someone called 911 to report the collision and request paramedics due to major injuries. At least one person was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.
Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles due to heavy crash damage.
Authorities mentioned one of the vehicles also knocked over a metal post in the area.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Fresno crash on Jensen Avenue. Police will assign fault to one or both motorists based on witness statements and evidence at the crash scene.
