Motorcycle Rider Hits 9-Year-Old Girl in Fullerton
FULLERTON (Nov. 16, 2022) – A 9-year-old girl was injured Tuesday afternoon in a Fullerton pedestrian accident on Valencia Drive involving a hit-and-run motorcyclist.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15th, according to the Fullerton Police Department and Fullerton Observer.
The eastbound motorcycle rider struck the girl as she walked south in a crosswalk near Eadington Avenue, police said.
Police say the rider on a black motorcycle had turned onto Valencia Drive from Brookhurst Road
Paramedics with the Fullerton Fire Department responded and transported the injured child to a hospital. She suffered serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
Meanwhile, authorities are searching for the motorcycle rider on a black “cruiser” type bike.
