Moorpark crash Grimes Canyon
Garbage Truck, Car in Crash at Portola Parkway in Irvine
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (April 11, 2022) — A garbage truck and Toyota Prius were in a crash Monday morning at Portola Parkway and Bee Canyon Access Road in Irvine.
The two-vehicle collision happened about 10:05 a.m. on April 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the garbage truck overturned onto its side and the Toyota Prius suffered major damage.
It’s unknow at this time what led up to the collision. Paramedics responded to help those involved, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash and they are speaking with witnesses.
