Semi-Truck, Kia Collide on I-5 Freeway
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (May 8, 2024) — An Oceanside crash involving a semi-truck happened Wednesday morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Mission Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:05 a.m. on May 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the white semi-truck and a white Kia collided due to unknown circumstances. The driver in the Kia was injured and called 911 for an ambulance.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the damaged vehicle from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Oceanside crash on the 5 Freeway.
