Motorcyclist, Semi-Truck Crash SR-193 at Argonaut Mine Road
GREENWOOD, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2021) — A Greenwood motorcycle versus truck accident happened Tuesday afternoon on Georgetown Road also known as State Route 193.
The collision happened about 1:36 p.m. on September 7th in El Dorado County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the motorcycle and semi-truck hauling a loaded, 30-foot trailer collided due to unknown reasons, just west of Georgetown.
Paramedics responded due to major injuries and transported the motorcycle rider to Sutter hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
