2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 198 in Hanford Area
KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2022) — A major-injury Hanford crash happened Monday on Highway 198 between a car and a semi-truck near 6th Avenue in the Remnoy community.
The collision happened about 7:46 a.m. on Jan. 10th between a driver in a Chrysler Sebring and a semi-truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the car had major front-end damage following the collision. Also, someone in the vehicle suffered major injuries and required paramedics.
Kings County Fire responded to the scene to transport the injured to a hospital. The report does not mention the number of people hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded to remove the Chrysler from Highway 198.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Hanford crash. It’s unknown if there are any citations at this time.
