Multi-Vehicle Rollover Crash on I-405 Freeway
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2022) — A Hawthorne rollover crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway happened Tuesday morning near Rosecrans Avenue.
The collision happened on the northbound side of the I-405 about 7:58 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles blocked the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway following the crash, police said.
One of them an overturned pickup truck and a black Mercedes was in the HOV lane. The third vehicle moved over to the right shoulder.
Meanwhile, paramedics and firefighters with the Los Angeles County and Redondo Beach fire departments responded to help anyone hurt in the crash.
A tow truck removed the overturned pickup truck from the Hawthorne crash scene.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the Hawthorne crash on the 405 Freeway .
