2-Vehicle Crash on I-880 Freeway in Hayward
HAYWARD, Calif. (Nov. 28, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash in Hayward happened Monday on the Tennyson Road on ramp at the northbound Interstate 880 Freeway.
The collision occurred about 12:15 p.m. on Nov. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report a red Nissan pickup truck crashed into the back of a white Toyota Scion due to unknown circumstances. The pickup truck sustained moderate front-end damage and the Scion had moderate rear-end damage from the collision.
Paramedics responded and located both vehicles blocking the entire on ramp to the freeway.
It’s unknown how many were hurt in the crash at this time.
Police requested two tow trucks to remove both vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Hayward crash.
