2-Vehicle Collision on Elkhorn Boulevard in Foothill Farms Area
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 22, 2024) — A head-on crash happened Monday at Elkhorn Boulevard and Hillsdale Boulevard in the Foothill Farms area of Sacramento.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 11:26 a.m. on April 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told CHP officials the driver of a gold Cadillac SUV was allegedly speeding and weaving in and out of traffic lanes when it crashed over the center divider head-on into a white Kia SUV, the report said.
The vehicles were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of Elkhorn Boulevard after the crash.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with minor injuries and complaints of chest pain, but it’s unknown if others were hurt.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine if any charges will be filed against the at-fault motorist.
