Major Injury Crash on Howsley Road in Pleasant Grove Area
PLACER COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2022) — A two-vehicle head-on crash happened Wednesday on Howsley Road near Pleasant Grove, just east of the county line in Placer County.
The major injury crash occurred about 6:35 a.m. on Oct. 26th, between Pleasant Grove Road and Sunset Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a red Honda Pilot and a red Toyota Scion collided when one of the motorists veered into the path of the other one. The Scion overturned onto its roof during the crash and one of the vehicles wound up on the side of the roadway.
Additionally, paramedics with the Sutter Fire Department responded and located at least one person with major injuries. They requested a helicopter to airlift the most seriously injured person, but it’s unknown at this time how many they transported to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both vehicles and investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
