2-Vehicle Crash on I-15 Freeway in Hesperia
HESPERIA, Calif. (April 5, 2024) — A two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle happened Friday morning on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway in Hesperia.
The traffic accident occurred at around 6:50 a.m. on April 5th, just north of Oak Hill Road, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The drivers of a Chevrolet Volt sedan and a motorcycle were involved in the collision and blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
CHP officials reported the collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway, but the circumstances leading up to it are unknown at this time. The rider reportedly went down in the left lane of the freeway and sustained undisclosed injuries.
Paramedics responded to treat the injured rider, but there are no further details.
Finally, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the freeway. The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
