Semi-Truck, Car Crash on Highway 156 in Hollister
HOLLISTER, Calif. (April 19th, 2022) — A head-on Hollister crash between a semi-truck and car happened Tuesday on the eastbound Highway 156 and Buena Vista Road.
The crash occurred about 4:40 a.m. on April 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The white big rig truck came to a stop in the middle of the roadway and its driver was unable to move it off the highway.
Meanwhile, other motorists were going around the crash scene on state Route 156.
CHP officials reported the big rig truck and Ford Fusion both suffered major front-end damage due to the collision.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash. They transported one person with complaints of pain to Natividad Medical Center.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
