Head-on Crash on State Route Highway 175
MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2022) — A semi-truck and pickup truck collided Monday on State Route Highway 175, just east of Hopland near a hair-pin turn in the roadway.
The collision occurred about 1:42 p.m. on Sept. 12th, according to a California Highway Patrol. The report stated the big rig truck hit a pickup truck head on.
Three people suffered injuries in the collision between on this narrow, two-lane road after the semi-truck and a Toyota Tundra pickup collided.
The CHP report stated the injuries were minor, but no further details.
Meanwhile, the semi-truck blocked both lanes and a tow truck came to remove the Toyota pickup truck.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
