2-Vehicle Car Accident on Barbara Worth Road
IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 19, 2024) — Two motorists were involved in a head-on crash Monday afternoon on Barbara Worth Road and Ross Road in Imperial County.
The collision occurred at around 1:42 p.m. on Feb. 19th, just north of the border and south of Holtville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported they received a call from one of the driver’s employers who stated one of the vehicles crashed into a canal and someone was injured.
The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office requested paramedics respond to the scene and located two vehicles including a brown Buick with major front-end damage and one vehicle in a drain ditch.
Tow trucks responded to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, at least one person was treated for injuries, but it’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Barbara Worth Road in Imperial County.
