Man, 36, Struck and Killed near Fresno Intersection
FRESNO, Calif. (April 25, 2024) — Jonathan Harper, 36, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident on April 13th while crossing Blackstone Avenue near Ashlan Avenue in Fresno.
The fatal crash occurred on Saturday, April 13th at around 10:30 p.m., according to the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner.
The man reportedly ran across the street into the path of an oncoming vehicle and was hit. Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man to Community Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries, according to the Fresno Bee.
He was later identified by the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner as Jonathan Harper.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue.
