Pedestrian Accident 20th Street, Avenue N
PALMDALE, Calif. (May 19, 2023) — Jose Marco Gonzalez-Olivares died in a Palmdale hit-and-run pedestrian accident Thursday, May 11th at 20th Street and Avenue N.
A driver reportedly struck the 31-year-old man at the Palmdale intersection around 11:19 p.m. and fled the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics responded and located the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Despite efforts by medical crews, the man identified as Jose Gonzalez-Olivares died at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner later identified him on its website.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to search for the suspect in a dark gray sedan, possibly a Honda Civic. The vehicle will likely have major front-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case and seeking the public’s help locating the suspect from the fatal pedestrian accident that happened at 20th Street and Avenue N in Palmdale.
