Bicyclist Riding on Wilmington Boulevard Struck and Killed
WILMINGTON, Calif. (April 12, 2024) – Junior Valle, 28, died in a hit-and-run crash while riding a bicycle on Wilmington Boulevard Thursday night near G Street in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred at 8:45 p.m. on April 11th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police officers from the department’s Harbor Division responded to the intersection and located the man down in the roadway near his bicycle, police said.
Unfortunately, the Wilmington man died at the scene.
However, the driver who struck the victim reportedly fled and failed to stop and provide aid or call for paramedics.
Investigators did not release a vehicle description, but they continue to work on the case and search for the suspect who fled. Witnesses or anyone with information about the suspect should call 877-LAPD-247.
