Pedestrian Killed in Crash is Identified
EL CAJON, Calif. (April 24, 2024) – Kenneth Ronald Taylor, 38, died in a pedestrian accident Saturday, April 13th on the Kumeyaay Highway (Interstate 8 Freeway) in El Cajon.
The deadly crash was reported at around 9:21 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver reportedly struck the man in the westbound lanes of Kumeyaay Highway at Main Street, the report said. A woman driving the vehicle called 911 and told dispatchers the victim was down in the middle lane of the freeway.
Unfortunately, Kenneth Ronald Taylor suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
Finally, police closed down the westbound lanes at Main Street and they are heading up an investigation into the pedestrian accident in El Cajon, the CHP reported.
