
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2023) – Kobra Peralta, 29, of Sacramento, died in a rollover crash Sunday on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Deschutes Road in Anderson.
The collision occurred about 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12th, near the Anderson Outlets and Redding, according to Action News Now.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office identified Kobra Angelo Peralta following the collision. The young man was one of three occupants of the Toyota SUV at the time of the accident.
The Sacramento man died at the scene. Also, paramedics responded and requested a helicopter to airlift the other two people to Mercy Medical Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Meanwhile, the vehicle overturned and wound up roughly 30 feet off the roadway in a upright position, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
