1 Killed, 3 Injured in Koreatown Crash at Olympic and Hoover
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 31, 2023) – A crash killed one person and injured several others at Olympic Boulevard and Hoover Street in Koreatown.

According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place early Tuesday. Officers reported the wreck on January 31 at about 1:45 a.m.
The incident began when a vehicle was going south on northbound Hoover Street, approaching Olympic Boulevard, in the Koreatown neighborhood.
At the same time, another car was traveling on Olympic. Los Angeles police said the wrong-way driver then slammed into the other vehicle in the intersection.
Multiple Cars Collide
The impact pushed the second car into a third vehicle. Firefighters arrived and pronounced the man in is 40s driving the second car dead at the scene.
Paramedics rushed the driver and a passenger in the first vehicle to a hospital and listed them in stable condition. Medical personnel treated the third motorist at the site for unknown injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police detained one person following the wreck.
Officers forced the area of Olympic and Hoover to shut down for a time after the incident. The cause of the fatal Koreatown crash is still under investigation.
