2-Vehicle Head-on Crash in Lake Elsinore
LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2022) — A head-on crash at Temescal Canyon Road and Horsethief Canyon Road happened Monday morning in the Lake Elsinore area.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 6:44 a.m. on Feb. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a silver Chevrolet Cruze and a black Toyota Corolla collided at the Lake Elsinore intersection.
Vehicles Block Temescal Canyon Road
The vehicles blocked the roadway and at least one good Samaritan in a blue Mazda stopped to help those involved. Someone called 911 for help and CAL Fire Riverside sent paramedics to the scene to help those hurt in the crash. It’s unknown how many people were injured in the crash at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove both of the damaged vehicles.
CHP officials are at the scene piecing together what happened.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Lake Elsinore crash on Temescal Canyon Road.
