Motorist Injured in Crash in Lancaster Area
LANCASTER, Calif. (August 16, 2022) — A two-vehicle Lancaster crash happened Tuesday morning at West Avenue K and 12th Street West.
The traffic accident occurred about 9 a.m. on August 16th at this busy intersection, according to MyNewsLA. The intersection is controlled by traffic lights and left-hand turn signals.
The drivers involved were in a truck and a car, but it’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time. Authorities called for an ambulance after they determined one person was injured in the collision. Firefighters extricated the driver from the car from his or her vehicle following the accident.
Paramedics responded to the crash scene at Avenue K and 12th Street West. They transported one person by ambulance to a hospital in unknown condition, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown what led up to the crash at this time, nor how many people occupied the two vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Lancaster crash on Avenue K.
