6 Injured in School Bus Collision in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Calif. (Feb. 25, 2022) — A Lancaster school bus crash happened Friday morning at 53rd Street West and Avenue J1.
Six people were injured in the minor collision between the bus and a car about 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 25th, according to KTLA 5 News.
The school bus was full of children when the crash happened and several people were taken to the hospital.
The collision happened in a residential neighborhood near the intersection just west of the 14 Freeway.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the bus crash.
A driver in a car reportedly collided with the front driver’s side of the school bus due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics transported a total of six people to the hospital with minor injuries, fire officials said.
The report does not mention the number of children from the bus who were hurt in the Lancaster school bus crash.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
